June.  Already!  I'm trying to get ready for the Row by Row which starts on June 22nd and the month has raced up on me.  As usual, I'm not even close to being ready so I'll be sending out emails when we get closer to the event to let you know all of the fun things I am planning for the first two weeks. There will be wonderful door prizes, daily sale items and good company!  Those of you out shop hopping can pop in and say hi and check out what is going on as well.  We can't stamp passports this year but we can offer other enticements...

But, this weekend is our regular sale weekend so let's get that done first.  I'm looking around the Shoppe this morning and I see a LOT of fabric!  And, more is arriving very soon.  I'm going to let you help me open up some space on the clearance racks first by taking an additional dollar off the clearance price per yard.  That will bring the prices down to $4.00 - $5.50 per yard depending on your choices!  As always, it is a one yard minimum cut on clearance fabrics.

Also, all precuts (excluding the new Forest Floor Block of the Month) will be 20% off!  That means kits, strip packs, squares, fat quarters, etc.   And speaking of the Forest Floor Block of the month, be sure to wander back into the classroom to check this beauty out now that it is up for display. The pattern is from Wing and a Prayer Designs and the fabrics are all Tonga Batiks.  They have also put together some great table runner patterns using these fabrics as well as a raw edge quilt - those kits and patterns will be available as soon as we finish organizing all of the BOM kits.

And, don't forget to mark your calendar for the Mukilteo Garden and Quilt Tour on July 15th and 16th!  We will be pre-selling the Tour Tickets beginning June 12th.

Lastly, now that it's getting warm outside I want to remind everyone of my "IT'S TOO DARN HOT" hours.  We plan to be open our regular hours from 10 - 5:30 weekdays all summer long.  But, as anyone who has been in here on a hot day can tell you, it gets really unpleasant inside anytime the temperature holds in the high 80's for a few days or hits the 90's.  So, on those days we close at 4, which is when the sun really beats on the front windows and the flat tar roof.  Whenever this occurs I will be sure to have the information on the Shoppe voicemail by noon so if you are wondering, just pick up the phone and make a call.  We all appreciate the understanding.

Happy June!
